Invader Zim is the newest project of Mr.Vasquez. It will premier on the Nickelodian channel, Friday at 9 Pm. Dont miss it or else you'll probably hate yourself...forever... Invader Zim is about things Jhonen has been obssesing with since birth. Spaceships, monsters, aliens,and robots.In the show a parinoid alien(invader zim) believes that he's at the forefront of a sinister plan to conque the galaxy. A hopeless failure in Irk, his home planet, Zim is ordered to Earth by his superiors. Assisted be a feeble minded(hmm...feeble minded assistant...kinda sounds like Squee) robot, Zim goes undercover and infiltrates an elementary school, where he meets his new nemesis, Dib, a paranormal child investigator with aliens on his mind. When asked about changing to the Nickelodian channel after making such decidedly adult/older teen type related comics he said it wasnt much of a change. "I'm not adapting anything, other than restricting a certain vocabulary and a certain liberty of visuals" he said. "That's kind of why I went with this. It's interesting being just as bizzare and just as funny, but not using the kind of things iv used before. But i guess it's sad in that it speaks so well of my arrested development"
